Brake Inspection Service

Brakes are an important safety system on any vehicle, and especially so on a 16,000+ lb motorhome.

We offer brake inspection to ensure your continued driving safety.

This is an example of a brake inspection which turned out to have major benefits for the customer.   This coach was brought in for a brake inspection.  Our expert chassis mechanics removed all 6 wheels allowing a careful inspection of the brake systems.

The brake inspection on this coach showed that the brakes are in good safe condition, and have about 70% wear left - a positive result for the client. 

HOWEVER......

We did find a broken spring on the rear left wheel!   This is certainly a safety issue that both affects road handling and driveability,  but also places additional stress on the remaining leafs of the spring pack, resulting in accelerated wear and potential catastrophic failure!

We also found this crushed exhaust pipe tip.  This constriction in the exhaust is probably costing at least 20%  in horsepower and gas mileage!  An easy fix with an immediate operating cost benefit!
